Board Certified Oral Surgeon Adam L. Rose
Dr. Adam L Rose was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania. He comes from a family with strong blue collar roots and those values were instilled in him at a young age. Dr. Rose earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Geneva College. While at Geneva, he excelled on the football field and twice earned All-American status. His academic journey took him from Western Pennsylvania to sunny Florida. Dr. Rose earned his M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University in Miami Shores. This accelerated Master’s prepared him for enrollment in the inaugural class of the LECOM School of Dental Medicine. He was awarded the Academic Achievement Award for his class among numerous other accolades. During his time at LECOM, Dr. Rose met Dr. Charles A. Tomeo. It was during this encounter that he decided to pursue a career in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Rose took the leap and moved to New York City and Long Island for his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He trained at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. While there, he was lauded by his peers and developed a passion for dental alveolar, implant reconstruction, and trauma surgery. After completion of residency, Dr. Rose joined the Dr. Tomeos in their practice, fulfilling a dream of working with his mentors.
Dr. Rose is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and practices full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery in our four office locations. He is on staff at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center and HCA Blake Hospital where he takes facial trauma call.
Outside of the office, Dr. Rose is married to his high school sweetheart, Karianne. They have two daughters- Arden Caroline and Ada Meredith and a son- Adam Theodore. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and fishing, and trying new restaurants.
